Can I use Comodo antivirus in Linux

I am having the Sony vaio laptop with the Linux operating system and that too on the Intel’s dual core operating system. Now the thing is that is I want to use the comodo antivirus and also want to install the same on my system. But I have tried the same thing to install it on my system but was failed to do so. I don’t know why my system is not letting me to install it on my system. Is the Linux which is causing the issue or anything else? Please let me know how I can install this antivirus on my system.

If I am not wrong you are using Linux and if you are unable to install it on it then it must be compatibility issue. Now what you have to do here is that do compatibility test and get yourself known whether the software is compatible with the system that you have. And if you found that it is not compatible then please don’t try and force the installation because it may have happen that some of the other programs of the system may get affect due to it and then it will be more problematic

Actually the thing here that Comodo is the free software and it can be freely available so the thing here is that you have to download it from the official site only. I mean to say that the Comodo that you are using must be corrupted and that is why the installation is not taking place properly. Now what you have to do here is that just try and get the official source and then do the installation. I am sure that downloading the fresh and authorized copy of it will help you to complete the installation.

I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that if you are unable to install the antivirus on the Linux platform then you can use the other which are more suitable for this one. Actually I have also tried to install the Comodo antivirus on my Linux but failed. So afterward I tried to install the one which are compatible with the Linux operating system. So I will suggest you the same thing not to try and forcibly install the Comodo but try out any other one.

If you will ask me then I will suggest you to leave the Comodo and just go for the Avast home package which is fully compatible with the linux operating system. In fact I am also using the same one and it the best I have ever used. It gives you the maximum security regarding any malware or the virus. I hope that this will definitely help you to solve the issue and will give the finest of performance.
