Remote desktop connection results in window automatic resize

I am having a desktop system , the operating system currently installed in my machine is Windows 7 , I have set the resolution of my LCD screen as 1400*900 , I had connected my system with a remote desktop , but during that time I change the resolution of my LCD and made it 1024*768,as soon as I do this the window will slide to the right hand side of the screen and this usually happens when I maximize the remote desktop , I think this is due to the remote desktop connection. I want this issue to be fixed as I am finding this very much annoying.

After setting the resolution of the desktop which is placed remotely as 1024*768 , I am asking you that can you go back to the General Tab and choose the settings that is meant for current connections to RDP file? If you are not able to choose it then you can attempt to save the settings and check whether the issue still persists. Please let me know after you have tried this much and still not close to the resolution then I think you should refer to the Microsoft official site.

Well you can get your problem fixed if you follow the following set of instructions

    • You will have to go to go to Control Panel
    • In the control panel there will be an option with the name Ease of Access link or you may see it with an icon under the name Ease of Access Center icon, you will have to select that
    • After choosing that option please select the option “Change how your mouse works” or instead you also have the liberty to select “Make the mouse easier to use” option.
    • There will be an option along with a check box with the name “ Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen “ you will have to just check it.

Well if you feel that it is a sort of bug than let me tell you that it is not a bug you are getting your windows maximized automatically because of a new buil feature in Windows 7 this feature is also called as auto maximize , yo make it normal you will have to drag the windows towards the top of the screen or the right hand side , you will continue it till you break them into their respective places . Now it will not resize automatically and you can maximize it in your own manner. If you want me to explain it in more simpler language then please post it again.
