How to remove a virus from Dell E310

I have a Dell E310 PC and want to remove virus from it. I don’t have any idea how can I do this? I contain a virus in my local hard disk. What I did was to reinstall Microsoft windows XP onto my CDROM burner drive just to attempt to obtain back on the internet. But how can I now get free of that virus in local drive? Is there anyone have any idea about this?

What I would do is setup Avast, while it reboots, it will do a boot time scan and with any fortune, virus vanished. You can download it with whatever PC you are posting this on, and place it on an USB thumb drive to transport it to your PC with the virus. Others here will possibly say they do not worry for Avast, and they may have excellent cause, but it has not failed me. I have fixed many people’s PC's with expired ant virus’s and a serious mess of viruses.

    2. Malware bytes: Malware byte is one of the most excellent and effective antimalware tools out there.
    3. Ccleaner: Ccleaner is a system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool with a well-organized and most functional registry cleaner.

You should as well download ThreatFire Antivirus from internet, it is a performance based Antivirus or antispyware, it does not rely on virus descriptions, it is intended to work alongside your antivirus and it will catch most malicious applications the moment they attempt anything suspicious. As well it would not harm to install the web of trust plug-in for your internet browser that will caution you about suspicious or impure sites on most search pages based on feedback from further users. Therefore web of trust, and if you’re still utilizing windows firewall, I would suggest downloading zone alarm. I like how it asks you while an application endeavors to update or phone home in its place of them doing what they wish while they want.

Does the infected computer boot into your Windows? Place it on a USB flash drive that is thumb drive or burn it to a CD. Plug the flash drive into the impure computer, or if you selected to place it on a CD, locate the CD into the impure computer. The impure computer should after that asks you what you wish to do with the flash drive or CD. Choose Open folder to view files. Twice click on the Avast file and go through the installation.
