Need help for PPPoA Settings in WAG200G

It seems to me that I stuck in a middle of puzzle. I am using RV042 as central router. For this router I have 2 WAN ports for internet connection. The port 1 is connected to a cable modem and the port 2 connected to ADSL modem. ISP connection is PPPoA and IP address is assigned automatically. There is no issue with cable modem and WAG200G also. The thing is WAG200G should progress properly on port 2 when the RV042 is configured to "Obtain an IP automatically" and the ISP's DNS addresses are inserted in the table. Unluckily, WAG200G won’t work with the RV042. How?

The connection settings which you have currently configured or using, I t may not work that way. You need to do some adjustment on Cable Modem - RV042 internet Port and from RV042 Ethernet Port 1 to WAG200G port 1. The important thing is that WAG200G will work only with the DSL Connection not a cable connection.

You may not know that there are two traditions to cascade a Linksys router to another Linksys router:
    • Connect one of the Ethernet ports or LAN ports of the Linksys router #2 to one of the Ethernet ports LAN ports of the main or central Linksys router.
    • Connect the Internet port or WAN port of the Linksys router #2 to one of the Ethernet ports or LAN ports of the main or central Linksys router.

DSL providers use PPPoA (Point-to-Point Protocol over ATM) confirmation to create Internet connection for users. To set-up DSL connection, you need to check first on these things:
    • Verify Internet on the Modem
    • Check IP Address on Computer

You have to manually perform this settings first, otherwise the DSL will not establish connection.
