Internally the IP address can be changed manually in windows 7 by clicking on to start menu, in main menu click to the control panel, in control panel go to the Network and Sharing option, in that go to the Manage Network Connections. This is at most way you can change it, since it keeps on changes depending on the language pack you use. Also click on the network Card (NIC) you use to connect to the server. Go to the “Properties”, in that click on the internet protocol, after it clicks on properties. Finally you can change your IP address whatever you want.

I think you may know that there are two different types of IP address. The first is the dynamic, in that IP address is assigned by your own router. The second IP address is provided by the Internet Service Provider (ISP). With the second IP address you may able to access to entire globe. If you want to change it, it can be done by the service provider only. If you want to do any changes in your dynamic IP address which is provided by Modem, go to the network connection, in that click to properties. After that go to the IPv4 and click to the properties of it. Now you can change your own IP address.

In windows 7 the IP address can be changed manually. The setting is very similar to Windows Vista.
    • Go to the Start menu on main windows.
    • Click the All programs options in that go to the Accessories.
    • In that go to the Command Prompt, write ipconfig /release and click enter.
    • Click Start> control Panel> Network and Sharing Center.
    • In task menu select Manage Network Connections.
    • Search and right click on LAN, in that choose properties.
    • Now click on Internet Protocol v 4.
    • Click and enter any IP such as 111.111.111.111
    • Press Tab and the Subnet Mask section will populate with default numbers
    • Click Ok two times
    • Right click on Active Local Area Connection again and choose Properties
    • Right Click on IP v 4 two times.
    • Choose Obtain an IP address automatically
    • Lastly click OK
now you will have new IP address
