Some Virus creates autorun.inf & baswala.exe in USB drive, MSE detects nothing

When I connected my USB drive with my Windows XP computer system then it an autorun.inf and baswala.exe files gets created automatically. I am having fully updated Microsoft Security Essentials still when i scan my computer system by using the same then it is showing that there is no viruses on my system. How can i remove them now. I have tried removing them manually but they gets created automatically next time when I connect my usb drive.

Seems like the virus with which your system have got infected have affected your windows operating system from its core. I mean to say that your windows registries have got infected by the virus and since registry loads first of all with which this virus as well is creating the needed files on your windows system and hence no matter how much time and how you remove it, It gets created again on your system when you reboot your system.

I think it would be best to take the backup of your windows machine as it can happen anytime your windows machine does not gets booted up due to the viruses which has been installed on it. Actually i am not so sure about it but as viruses have affected the registries of the Windows operating system then there is a possibility of crashing the Windows OS which will ultimately make you to reinstall the new OS but you won't be getting any chance to backup your data at that time, So you better do it now.

It has been recommended that whenever your windows operating system has any viruses in the registry then it won't be possible to remove the virus by logging into the normal user, So you should log in by using the safe mode of the windows operating system which does not let virus to load up and hence you can remove the viruses from its core. Keep on pressing the F8 key when your system starts, This will show you Windows Booting Options and then select Safe Mode to boot up. Now use any anti virus software to remove the viruses out of your system.

I have given you the link from where you can download the HijackThis anti virus software which is an amazing software to detect as well as remove any latest viruses from the windows operating system. But make sure that once you have downloaded this tool then you have to keep on updating it so that it would be having all the informations about the more latest viruses. Though i have provided the download link of its latest version but still may be after some months, It would be needing updates.

First of all i will suggest you to scan your usb drive which would be having such viruses which are in fact infecting your computer system when you are connecting it with your pc. So you have to scan your usb drive first and it would much better if you format it so that there would be no chance to have the same virus on it again. As soon as you format it, Then start removing the virus from your computer system by using any good anti virus software. Once you have removed then connect your usb drive again and check that the it has something or not.
