What is this shared "PC server" showing up

I am using network set up through an iMac other two iphones at any of the given time. And when I checked my shared section so in that I mean section of the Finder sidebar. And I am also able to see other computers also. And I am able to see only those who are connected at that time. And also on my MacBook on the other hand, I am able to see a "PC Server" that does not come into view on wherever else. It comes into view to be recognized by a MAC address, but when I make sure my Airport utility, none of the linked machines show that address.

Here I think sometimes it takes those links are really very slow to update at least for me. I am able to go to school and there it will shows me a list of the shares and then when I have just disconnected this and go to home at that time I still capable to see them until finder realizes that I have just gone and they are not actually there any longer. So do you utilize this macbook in two separate places like work and home?

I am also facing the same issue and regarding this when I try to fix this issue it gives me error. Actually I got this solution from one of the forum site and from there most of the user have posted that they have got the solution related to this. So I have also give a try to this solution but my bad luck it is not going to help me and I have got the error. Sometimes I recognize the computer as a PC but it is a Mac even though you are not able to connect to it. I am confident an update will solve it when it comes out.

Here I desire to make it very apparent that what is going on. I just got this. When you observe rather similar to mac001ec214122a in your mutual list, it means that the Mac computer you have on your network is also broadcasting the Mac address of your Ethernet card. There is not anything threatening going on here though it should not be doing this. Apple has been paying no attention to this matter for some reason and why it unexpectedly started happening is not plain but you are not at a security danger when you observe this. So I know only that much regarding this I can say that you do not have to worry.

Hey I also know this and regarding this if you want to confirm this by what I am saying by going into your network partiality. Select Ethernet, tick the advanced button and then tick on the Ethernet tab. You will observe that the Ethernet ID I mean Mac address for your Ethernet card is where the NetBios name that comes into view in your shared server list is derivative from. Now tick on the WINS tab and you will observe that the NetBios Name is your Ethernet ID with Mac added to the front. Now, when I make sure my Sharing settings, I have file sharing place to share and under choices I only contain "Share files and folders using AFP". FTP and SMB are not checkered so my MacBook should not be broadcasting a NetBios name. What I am not able to get and what Apple desires to tell us all is how to stop this from occurrence. How do we turn off the WINS NetBios broadcast. We do not care why it abruptly started happening and we are all reassured by the fact that it's simply a byproduct of sharing our Mac computers on a Mac network. So please tell me how to stop it?
