wifi Ad hoc + ICS problems

I have been trying to use my laptop as a wifi hotspot for my other laptop, but as soon as I activate ICS on my wifi my LAN connection (main connection) becomes an unidentified network and I lose connectivity. I am currently running windows 7 on this computer. My IP adresses are set to renew already. What could I do to make it work?

If you're using a wireless router then you don't require go all the way through the internet connection wizard moreover. Your PC can share the connection through the router, just attach each one independently if you don't have a router and are trying to permit your system to pass through your Windows 7 machine you still don't need the ICS but need to use 2 active network cards and use the network setup wizard.
