Norton update center question

Once I was surfing through internet and came across Norton site where I saw a icon saying for Norton check on your system to be sure that you have all the updates. after going to that link it direct me to NORTON UPDATE CENTER which provide the updates for the Norton product . but after I run a software for update it comes with message as no Norton product found.
