Setting Norton 360 V 2.0 Firewall with the Xbox 360

I have just purchased a fresh copy of Norton 360 V 2.0 and i am having the Xbox 360. I guess these both have something problematic with each other as when i tried to play some songs then it was not playing it. Is it Firewall of norton which might be stopping me? If problem is at some other place then where, Can anybody help me to resolve this issue?

I'm advised not to choose the firewall built-in Windows because it is frankly not very effective because it only handles incoming streams. So it will not prevent the connection of a program on your PC and install spyware and other malware. If you have satisfied the firewall norton then chosen as a free Zone Alarm or Kerio.

You can disable antivirus and firewall by performing a right click on the icon N360 in the taskbar. In the context menu, you choose to disable the antivirus and firewall. You open the Windows Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + SUP) and you realize the "Processes" tab. In the list, you click on "ccsvcht.exe" then you click on "complete the process." You'll have to do it twice, because this process is active under your name as well as sessions in "System". This second solution is more radical than the first, and you must restart the computer to reactivate protection. You can use the second option if the first really does not give you satisfaction.

I suggest you to try playing the music files without Norton 360. To enable or disable protection Norton 360.
    1. Right click on the icon in the system tray.
    2. Click on the menu Open the Task Pane and parameters.
    3. Click Change advanced settings.
    4. Click the Firewall Settings.
    5. In the left part of the Global Settings window, perform the following operation, Select Off. Then click Apply.
    6. A window opens that lets you choose how long the firewall should remain disabled.
    7. Choose the time and click OK. Then click Close.
    8. To turn the firewall, follow the same way but select Enabled.

Start Norton 360. Click Tasks & Settings. Click Change Advanced Settings. Click Firewall Protection Settings. On the Firewall Program Rules tab, in the Program column, scroll through the list until you find any or all of the following applications:
    • ehshell.exe
    • Mcrdsvc.exe
    • Svchost.exe
    • MCXNetTw.exe
    • MCRMgr.exe
    • Ehexthost.exe

For each of the applications that you find, change the Access from Block or Custom to Allow. Click Apply -> Close. Click Yes.

Re: Setting Norton 360 V 2.0 Firewall with the Xbox 360

I uninstalled Norton Internet Security from my desktop PC. I got my order number and activation key NORTON 360. On the site NORTON, in particular chapter, I clicked: updates and renewals, then down "status of your order. There I recalled the order number that I copied and pasted, and finally my password. Once my order of 26 February (two months ago soon) appeared with the framework DOWNLOAD NOW. I clicked again and then install the new antivirus.
