Bsnl nokia siemens wireless router unable to connect with dell

Hello,
I have a BSNL wireless Router made by nokia Siemens.I am having a laptop with vista OS installed on it.I am trying to connect my router to my laptop on the wireless mode ,but i m not able to make this connection.I have also tried to take the help of staff members of BSNL.But they have not provided me much help on this topic.I request you to provide me the help for sorting out this problem.

You must first log in using the IE or Mozilla.I am providing you the important steps.Inside the LAN setup make these changes-Make IP as 192.168.1.1 then Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0 then enable DNCP server.Start the IP as 192.168.1.2 and end it as 192.168.1.254.In DSL settings enable all except SRA and AnnexM You try this settings and give me the feedback

There might me problem in your wireless setting .So check this out,inside Basic setting name the SSID .You can even hide the SSID .Then select country as India.Then Go into security setting .First make the Network Authentication as OPEN ,WEB as Enabled,Encryption strength between 64 or 128,network key as per your choice.Now reboot your router.Remove your cable and enable WLAN and choose the network.You will able to connect it.

I was facing the same kind of problem in my router .I came up with solution for this.Make connection of your modem with the computer in the wireless mode by making use of the network key.Once the connection is established setup a broadband connection from the network and sharing centers.Provide the user-name and password which you are provided with and make you connection with the broadband connection.

For connecting your dell laptop in vista with your BSNL WIFI Type 2 modem you must need to change your registry setting.Windows vista operating system is having error in the DHCP server.You need to check this error on the Microsoft website and change the registry settings.I am providing you the website address where you can find your queries.
