for now, we can see that software piracy is very easy. whereas how hard it is to plan, debug n running software. so, we must thingking how to protect u'r software application l(.exe)/(.flv)??
n software piracy very harmful n increase our sales potential.

but, now don't worry again, cos i have a hardware that can protect our application. what is that??

DONGLE: is a small piece of hardware that connects to a laptop or desktop computer for the purpose of copy protection or authentication of software to be used on that system.
the advantages: u'r application can't running if not use dongle. so, very safety.

Hey thanks a lot for letting me know about the same. Actually i was looking for the same kind of thing which will protect the .exe file of the system. But this information is not enough for me. If it is possible for you to describe this in brief then it will be helpful for me to work with the DONGLE. Hope to get more specification from you.

hai aashirya.. The dongle is the most secure solution to piracy prevention. The mechanism involves a hardware key (or lock) that plugs into a USB port on a computer. The protected software application accesses this key for verification before continuing to run; special registration numbers are loaded into the dongle by the software publisher before shipment..

so, dongle like a key to open u'r software, if u not use a key u can't open the door.. it's locked n decrease software piracy
it's very easy use dongle.

Hi, Can you post a screenshot of the dongle hardware that you are talking about? Also, if I mean correctly, wasnt dongle used to connect bluetooth kind of devices whether it was a bluetooth headset or a bluetooth keyboard or mouse. I havent heard of any such devices used for secure software accessing or such.
