I have just installed KVM and QEMU. Then, Windows 7 Release Candidate KVM's turn. So far so good. I am not sure about the problem but with the KVM switch you are using might have some issue related to display. It might not able to provide the EDID and DCC information on the screen. Try a different channel or system for the same then check back. It is also possible that things might not be detected or recognize and that might be causing the issue. Windows 7 keeps on checking the display and display card.
