How do I exclude certain files, folders and programs from the Antivirus/Spyware scan

I am using a free spyware tool which I had installed a time before. Now the issue is that it scans the full system and direclty delete the virus with the file. There is no way of stopping this. I need some help to excldue some files and folders from my system which my antivirus should leae and I use them on my pc. It is somewhat like adding then to the exception list. Does Norton 360 has this support. I wan to know add this to my system.

Each type of antivirus program has a custom scan option which gives you rights to exlucde your folder or files while scanning. You must look for some option there. IF not then your antivirus is either free one or has very less settings. You will here need to download another antivirus. Norton 360 is a good antivirus program where under the list you can add the program and the antivirus leaves the same.

There is a exception list in the settings whereyou can choose a folder or file. This makes the antivirus understand to leave the file even when there is a virus in that. Norton 360 on the other hand is a full suite for better protection. Once installed, Norton 360 is supposed to perform all tasks of analysis, optimization or upgrade when your computer does not work.

Yes I am using Comodo Antivirus and this program has the support for that. Under settings I just need to add the folder or file information and while full system scaning the antivirus simply leaves the folder. Some tasks can be scheduled or run manually, but the software is openly designed to not require configuration. This makes the antivirus very helpful. You must search for such qualities.

The interface of Norton 360 is based around the four features of the software. The first is the protection against viruses and other threats, protection of transactions that is anti-phishing, backing up data online on a secure space of 2 GB and performance optimization computer like defrag, clean the cache, etc. It is a full fledge tool with lots of support and features. It is a once time expense.

All types of antivirus program have a exception list which gives you option to add those files and folders which you do not want to scan. The only issue with Norton 360 is that it comes with excessive memory consumption. Norton 360 is therefore the traditional functions of detection and eradication of most threats like viruses, Trojans, spyware, worms, rootkits and other malware.

I like Norton 360 because it is once solution for everything. Like for PC Protection there is a antivirus in that. It is also a anti-spyware protection against worms, trojans and rootkits. The other thing which it offer is identity protection which Includes anti-phishing, a system of secure personal information management against keyloggers. And the last thing which it has is backup and system optimization.
