Well now I have a small problem with my network adapter Intel Pro / Wireless 3945ABG in my laptop with Vista Premium edition ASUS. I installed the update and restarting ASUS I no longer detects network! I made the diagnosis of windows to the manufacturer's website. Impossible as I had no network so I plugged the Ethernet it works. I downloaded and installed the driver and all; it works fine until "at the end where windows tell me that the update could not be completed CODE 31. If after that Windows says I have the best version of the driver but it still does not work. Can someone help me?

I am also having similar problem and my friend suggested me that there is a memory update on the ASUS site, did you download, and what kind of laptop you possess. But the thing is that I got a Asus F3JC mounted memory 2GB. I looked on the Asus site and download their driver for the wireless but I say that I have one more recent, referring me to the problem now.

I have a Toshiba M30X laptop 142 with which I have never had a problem until today. Finally I got internet so I put the wireless "on" via the small button on the right side of the PC and it was immediately cut off and windows cannot restart if I leave the button pressed. I then branch to the Internet cable that works very well. I made an update of Intel wireless software if but of course it does not solve the problem.

The connector may be ON / OFF which will die soldered on the motherboard (a moment it must be removed while the notebook to the weld). The easiest you can do is test your wireless card in general is below the laptop (or under the keyboard), some screws unscrewed, hey hop you die clipped the WiFi card and you button toggles ON, to see if it’s been a short circuit! If not then the problem does not come from the connector ON / OFF. So you have left over the WiFi card (you can test with another of the same slot), antennas and cables tested (you can get micro cut on the insulation). It may be the motherboard that would be oxidized!

I reinstalled a jaunty version of 386 and all equipment has discovered the install no problem of network connection over wifi wpa2 personal ok Transfer of two iso images Ubuntu through wifi and ssh share without disconnection as the problems must come from the firmware. Do you know how to utilize this firmware? If you can help then I will be really thankful.
