Re: Unable to connect to VPN using airtel broadband

I am recently using an Unlimited 256Kbps plan of Airtel broadband. Then working of VPN do not rely on the plan or right to use speed however completely rely on the network Protocol working in the Connection type setting. But the by default the connection type which is fixed to PPP on the Ethernet (PPPoE) that is do not let VPN work. So you have to switch to Bridging mode and the VPN works without any issues.

I am very thankful to you a lot for your prompt reply on 256 UL package which is the average speed are you running the internet for downlaods ? Check whether you get numerous disconnections?

Which package is good 256 or 384 kbs?
Recently I heard about 384kbps UL is 999Rs

I need to know if 256 UL plan speed were truly enough for you to work on the VPN, if no I will have to take 512 or 384 kbps.

Actually, I am not confirm of the average speed for the downloads however I can confident and say which is 256 Kbps is very well and sufficient to connect to remote servers through the virtual private system network and work on them utilizing the VPN client application. Going for a special package which rely more on the requirement and budget point of view.
