Several problems- browser redirects, Internet Security 2010, DCOM server process termination

Recently I have been getting numerous difficulties on my desktop, working with Windows XP Home Edition, which I consider to be virus related. I believe I got rid of Internet Security 2010, but cannot be totally certain. I am in addition still experiencing the browser redirects to random websites on Firefox. I ran Malwarebyte's Antimalware's quick scan multiple times and nothing come up. I in addition had a difficulty where a popup with the message "DCOM server procedure launcher service has terminated unexpectedly" with a timer of 60 seconds. I googled it and twisted the shutdown timer off, and it seems to be a virus or malware related difficulty. This trouble has not repeated itself yet, but I still desire to create certain everything is extremely well.
