    Wireless Network Device Disabled on X500 series notebook

    Hi all,

    I have a X500 series notebook. I close the port services in accordance with a tutorial, put the wireless network feature is disabled. Now the light is not bright is the search network. I want to know how to solve? All the best.

If the notebook feature list box on the side of wireless networking is not listed, can add wireless networking notebook.     Windows XP SP2 automatically repair damaged wireless network connection. The following steps, use the repair function to repair:
    1. Click “ Start ”, “ Connected to ” , Then click “ Show all connections ”.
    2. Right-click “ Wireless network connection ” Icon, then select “ Repair ” .

    If the wireless network icon is not displayed, please do the following:
    1. Click “ Start ” .
    2. Click “ Set up ” .
    3. Click “ Control Panel ”.
    4. Double-click “ Network Connection ” Icon .
    5. Right click “ Wireless network connection ” .
    6. Select “ Property ” .
    7. By clicking on “ Connection icon in notification area ” A check mark next to.
    8. Click “ Determine ” .
    9. Close the "Network Connection" window.
    10. Right-click Wireless Network icon , Select “ Status ” . If the status is not connected, go to Method 5: Connect to a wireless network.
