RPC Virus Virus on Windows 7 Profesional

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7professional operating system. The problem is that I have recently started up my system and I found RPC virus virus. I do not know what could have cause the issue but when I tried to scan the system it was not able to remove the threat. Please d help me out top make the issue sorted. Thank you.
