    Solution to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d

My system is in great danger as it is infected with some threats. I need some solution to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d because this is the major infection that is being detected in my system by the AVG antivirus that I have installed in my system. The problem is that even after detection of the threat by the antivirus, it is not able to get rid of the same. My computer is running Windows Vista operating system and my browser is Mozilla Firefox. I am awaiting for suitable solutions.

    Eradicate the threat manually

I suggest you to eradicate the threat manually for the solution to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d. I have mentioned the files that have to be searched in your system:
    • E__ass[1].exe
    • SysReq.exe
    • Host.exe
    • wservice.exe

You will have to start the task manager and then, kill their processes, if they are present and only after that delete them from the system completely.

    Formatting is the only solution

According to me, formatting is the only solution to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d. As this infection is a trojan horse, all its files seem to be genuine from outside. They work internally for the destruction of the computer. Because of this, the manual deletion of this infection is not such a simple task. That is why, you must format the system and install a new copy of the operating system that you are using.

Enable a boot scan with the help of Avast antivirus

I think that you must enable a boot scan with the help of Avast antivirus to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d. All the antivirus do not provide this feature and because of this you will have to install Avast antivirus. The boot scan takes place at a time when the infections are not able to execute. As a result of this, they remain inactive. This is because the boot scan is started before the operating system is loaded.

AVG is a very good antivirus

AVG is a very good antivirus and it can be used to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d. I guess that it is not helping you to get rid of the threat because you have not updated the database of the antivirus. The experts recommend AVG for the deletion of infections like worms, virus and trojans too. It has to be noted that it does not matter even if you use the best antivirus and you do not update the same.

    A system restore

The best solution to remove Virus.Win32.Virut.d is to do a system restore. This is a very good method, when compared to the technique of formatting. When the computer is formatted, the operating system is removed along with the infections and installed components. Whereas in the system restore, all the infections and the installed components will be removed. The operating system will remain in the computer.
