    Category 6 network cabling

    Hi all,

Network cabling from the five categories, Super Category 5 to Category 6 or 7 class, conversion, cabling in the industry there are a lot of speculation. Can anybody tell me Category 6 network cabling "causes and results". Please reply.

    Category 6 network cabling

In the next few years, the network wiring will be further from a Category 5 to Category 5 super-and ultra-Category 5 to Category 6 conversion. The first phase of this process - Category 5 to replace the five super-class, already in progress, to the first half of 2001, when Category 6 standard was promulgated, the six classes in order to replace the previous generation products faster. All the best.

Super-Category 5 cable did not move faster to replace the maximum Category 5 cable is due when its standards are still being worked out - at least not yet formally defined. While already on the market before products which claim to meet the new standards, but users before the introduction of a formal standard for the product attitude is very cautious. Category 6 is now facing the same problem. Although some vendors have begun routing products to provide standards-compliant Category 6 product (product performance in line with current requirements of the standard), but users fear that standards may change. In a sense this is really true, because some of the details are still pending. Because of the lack of clearly defined, the product suppliers can only recount.

    Re: Category 6 network cabling

Why did you choose 6 classes? In fact is hard to say, but for the cable installation is to meet the future needs of the network is very important. Compared with the super-category 5, 6 classes will certainly provide a higher performance. It can provide higher bandwidth - at least as high as 200 MHz, instead of 100 MHz - and to improve the attenuation, crosstalk and return loss. Generated by the actual result is that six products can be more reliable than the super-five class handle more data. Check and reply.

    Category 6 network cabling

Among the many possibilities, the six classes is to implement Gigabit Ethernet twisted-pair cabling in a more simple way. Although the new standards will be bound by Category 5 cabling products used in ultra-Gigabit Ethernet, but it will not last long, because in line with standards of the future Category 6 cabling system may consider the use of other electronic devices to provide better results , say a 10-Gigabit. If the new standard was established, it will inevitably bring about such a question, copper media is being developed can be used in the 10-Gigabit Ethernet standard. All the best.

    Category 6 network cabling

If theTIA The Commission also developed a separate set of standards for six categories, namely, with better than 23 AWG 24 wire gauge standard cable, which provides 250 MHz bandwidth and can further reduce the crosstalk interference. This program is based on the current standard-setting has been introduced pending with the Committee vote. Some people think the vote would force the Commission to reconsider this option. The easiest way is probably in the clear before the Category 6 standard as far as possible to postpone a new installation. Best of luck.
