Need to remove Adware.MySearch.E

I am using HCL Me laptop running with windows 7. My system started giving an error message regarding the Adware.MySearch.E virus. This is really troubling me since it has affected my system performance so i would like to know a way to remove Adware.MySearch.E because it takes a lot of time inorder to start an application on my system after this infection

To give you a suitable and effective solution i would like to know some more information regarding this virus. Have you noticed a new toolbar on your browser as mywebsearch please try to mention this in your newer posts. Also i would like to know whether you can see a new process associated with this toolbar in the task manager.

Thanks for the reply i think you got the problem correctly i am having a new toolbar mywebsearch on my internet Explorer. Also i have noticed a new process associated with the toolbar in my task manager. this is really troubling whenver i search something using this toolbar it does not direct me to google

So you have the MyWebSearch Toolbar and also the process associated with the toolbar. Try to End the process from the Task manager and remove or uninstall the MyWebSearch Toolbar from the Control Panel. After removal try to get a new antivirus installed on your system and then scan your system using this.

I followed the instruction which you gave me i uninstalled the MyWebSearch Toolbar from the control panel and then i also removed the task from the Task manager and then i installed the quickheal total security trial version and used it for scanning the system but this does not helped me at all. Any other ideas

As far as i know the Quick heal total security trial version is not an affective antivirus. So i would recommend you to download the eScan Anti-Virus 10.0 on your system and then install it on your system. Try to update the virus definition before the scan. Hope this will definitely solve your issue.
