    Sharing Network with Hello

    Hi,
Hello is a nice way to share network on MAC systems. I am trying to make that work on my office network. What I am trying to figure is how to implement the same and use the maximum out of it. Does it is possible to run a LAN messenger on Hello. What will you recommend for the same for network chatting. And what other software does it supports.

Hello is not applied strictly, so no need to search in your hard disk to find it. This is actually a very interesting feature that Apple makes available to us in the heart of the system OS X. This new technology, based on technology zeroconf can thus greatly simplifying the connections and exchanges between computers within a local area network (LAN).

I would say Hello allows all users to easily create an instant network of computers and peripherals by connecting them to each other. So if you have two, three (or more) computers at home, why do not you putting all these pretty little networked devices to share the Internet connection, printer and scanner same. It is quiet easy to share the same on Hello.

You can also use Hello on iChat if you want to chat with people on your network. In this case. The Contact list itself (which lists all your contacts via the Internet) and the window Hello, which it will list that persons forming part of your home network! There is no interconnection between these two lists! You can enable / disable either of these lists in the menus of the application iChat.

    Re: Sharing Network with Hello

This function of chat via Bonjour is very useful in a home network, especially if your computers are located in remote parts. That means finally, with Hello you can ask iTunes and iPhoto installed on your computer to play music or view photos stored on another computer on your home network, and vice versa. So that makes it very convenient. In short, if you have multiple Macs at home, then go ahead and put the network. You can share files between Mac up with 10 OS X - Beyond that, it should opt for OS X Server.

SNOW LEOPARD renders Hello with much more energy and features. With Snow Leopard and merely AirPort Extreme or Time Capsule compatible, your computer may switch to standby mode and continue to share files with other computers and devices. He wakes up as needed, and returns otherwise. By this you can take advantage of the Internet connection, printer, exchanging files with ease, etc.
