Hi

How to activate the upnp on my router?

I play a game and it asks me to activate the upnp on my router. I do not know what is upnp mode in router ? . Can anyone help me?

Which router you are using?

Refer to manual that comes with your router when you buy it. In your router manual there must be a procedure written to enable upnp in the your router manual. Since every router have different interface, first tell us the router model you are using.

I have a Cisco EPC2425 modem, standard modem, and the procedure as follow:

1. Enter the address 192.168.0.1 in your browser.
   
2. nd Enter password. Do not have a password, just click "ok" and enter the next step.
   
3. Go into the tab "set up".
   
4. Click Firewall -> Options
   
5. Uncheck the box "IP Flood Detection" and press "Apply"

To do this, type the address http://192.168.1.1 in your browser.

If you've ever go there, the password is usually "admin".

After all depends on your interface; home is in the "Network"-> "NAT / PAT. And there you check "Enable UPnP".
