    PS3 Wireless Connection Error

I have wireless comfigurado with IP address, but is constantly falling.

It gives me this error: DNS error 80710102

What setting should I put to stay stable?

Thus, I took the console closer to the PC where I have the wireless router, called the TFT, I was playing Fifa online the second part of the game dropped the connection. Then I called the cable network, played 3 games online without any breaks.

Conclusion: I can only have something misconfiguration but I have no idea.

    And now .....?

Change the DNS settings (in PS3) to an OpenDNS Server:
    • 208.67.222.222
    • 208.67.220.220

    But the IP changes 192.168.1.3

Try to manually ... In connection disables the option to automatically acquire the DNS server and put it manually ...

    • SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > INERNET CONNECTION SETTINGS > WIRED CONNECTION OR WIRELESS >
    • WIRED CONNECTION > CUSTOM > MANUAL SETTINGS > AUTO DETECT > AUTOMATIC > DO NOT SET > MANUAL ( DNS1 : 208.67.222.222 , DNS2 : 208.67.220.220 ) > AUTO > DO NOT USE > ENABLE > X > X
    • WIRELESS > ENTER MANUALLY > ( ENTER SSID OR CONTINUE ) > ( CHOOSE SECURITY OR CONTINUE ) > CUSTOM > AUTO > DO NOT SET > MANUAL ( DNS1 : 208.67.222.222 , DNS2 : 208.67.220.220 ) > AUTO > DO NOT USE > ENABLE > X > X

    Re: PS3 Wireless Connection Error

I had the similar issue, for me adding to my router list of allowable MAC addresses the PS3 MAC address was the final resolution, i did as follow:

    • Find the number of MAC addresses PS3: Settings - System Settings - System Information
    • Open the Control rounter. This is usually my typing the router's IP address in your browser. or [url] http://192.168.0.1 [/ url]
    • Locate a tab for FILTERS
    • Slelect MAC filters.
    • Enter the PS3 MAC address of the previous step as allowable an MAC address.
    • Save the entry. At this point rounter will reset.
    • Go back and configure the wireless connection on PS3. Select all settings automatic or easy as the case may be.

    Re: PS3 Wireless Connection Error

Replace the ISP's DNS entries with addresses from the Open DNS project which is a free, secure DNS server that anyone can use. It's safe, easy, and works.

    The DNS addresses are:

    208.67.222.222 or/and 208.67.220.220

Once replaced, you should have no problem logging in.
