Getting 80710102 DNS error code for PS3

Hi,

I am using linsys wrt600n wireless router. But when I connect to the wireless network it fails. I get a DNS error. I have already tried the defaults & it fails too.
The internet connection test gives the 80710102 DNS error.
If you guys can help me?

I suggest you to go fo0r XBOX 360
I have been used that PS3 thing & its bad with those settings & all.
I must say get your own connection.

Hi,

I have been through this PSP3 DNS error code before so I just want to share what I did to solve the problem.
Steps:
Go to network connection settings - Click Custom.
This process only works for wireless connection.
Select your Internet connection type.
Scan & put in your security code. Make Ip address settings to automatic & do not set. Now at the DNS settings click on manual. Now for primery enter - 4.2.2.2 & secondary - 4.2.2.3
MTU automatic, do not set proxy settings, Enable UPNP. Now save settings.
This will create a link chain from your computer tpo PS3.

Dont want to spend for XBOX 360 for now.
Ill definitely try the steps you have provided. I just want to connect My PS3 to my system as for now.
