    Help to remove W32.BadTrans@mm virus

    I think my computer is infected with some kind of malicious virus. I get to know this when I scanned my personal computer with antivirus software. I got the alert message that help to remove W32.BadTrans@mm is detected on my computer system. Next thing I have done is, deleted this W32.BadTrans@mm from my computer system but whenever I restart my computer system I get the same error message again and again. So I really need help for deleting this W32.BadTrans@mm from my computer system.

    W32.BadTrans@mm which is detected on your computer system is a kind of encrypted worm which spreads through MAPI functions of Microsoft Outlook. This W32.BadTrans@mm worm also drops the Trojan.PSW.Hooker.b in the user computer. This Trojan is use for stealing the user name and password from the victims computer system. It uses password stealer for doing this. So I will suggest you to change your antivirus software.

    This W32.BadTrans@mm worm spreads through the service of emails. W32.BadTrans@mm worm comes as the email attachment of the infected email. The subject and the body content of the infected email are randomly selected by this W32.BadTrans@mm worm. I think you must update your antivirus software for removing this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system. Updating your current antivirus software will definitely solve your problem.

    Once this W32.BadTrans@mm worm enters your computer it copies itself to the windows folder with the name “INETD.EXE”. This W32.BadTrans@mm worm also decrypts and also copies KERN32.EXE and HKSDLL.DLL in the widows system folder. Since this worm uses the vulnerabilities of Microsoft outlook. I will suggest you to update all the application software you are using in your computer system. May be this will help you to get rid of this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system.

    You have deleted this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system but it comes back again and again because of the simple reason that this worm alters the registry key so that it can launch at the time of reboot.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
    RunOnce\kernel32=kern32.exe
    The above registry key is changed by this W32.BadTrans@mm worm on your computer system if you have the knowledge of registry you can manually delete this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system.

    I will suggest you to use MacAfee antivirus software or the Norton antivirus software for removing this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system these two antivirus are fully capable of removing this W32.BadTrans@mm worm from your computer system. But for using this antivirus software you have to pay for these. If you want to get rid of this VBS/Mawanella worm at the free of cost you can go for avast antivirus software. Home edition of avast antivirus software is available for free. You can download it from its official site.
