Many a times it is been found that the security tool that we use is unable to act as the security tool as they itself is an malicious program. You need to check out that the security tool that you have had install is not a malicious program. Remove the tool immediately and then scan your system using some powerful antivirus tool application. Use Quick heal total security 2009 pack. This will remove the threat that is been affecting your system.

There are process or methods through which you can remove desktop security tool 2010 from your system. Follow as the procedures:

    1) Open the taskbar option and then end the processes that is desktopsecurity.exe.
    2) After that delete the directories such as: C:\Program Files\Desktop Security 2010, C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Desktop Security 2010 , C:\WINDOWS\system32\[random].exe

After this has been done use regedit keys to remove the key associated with the same.

Try to run system restore option in order to work out for the thing. This should work out for you very well. All you need to do is:

    - Click on the start menu.
    - Now choose programs option.
    - In to the accessories check out for system tools.
    - Now open system restore.
    - Set the date accordingly and then process the function.
