It is necessary that your antivirus is in Updated state, if you want to delete any type of virus from your computer. So, just update your antivirus and then you can able to delete the IRC/Flood.gen.h Virus from your computer. So, you can able to remove that particular virus as well as other viruses which are not detected by your antivirus. If the files are infected by the virus and you don't need that then just delete that files than cleaning them. It may solve your future problem.

    Re: IRC/Flood.gen.h Virus Problem

I am also got infected by the same virus. And also there are many more files in my computer exist which are infected by the virus such as below:
    • nvsv32.exe
    • lsass.exe - IRC/flood
    • confin.sys
    • imer.xul
    • chrome.manifest
    • install.rdf

Also when I connect to Internet for updating my antivirus that virus connects to different address with the use of port 25. So, for protecting from that I have to stop my internet connection. So, my antivirus cannot be updated. So, tell me how to solve my problem. Is anyone knows the solution for this? Please help me.

    Re: IRC/Flood.gen.h Virus Problem

As your virus is connecting to the internet and increasing virus infection with the help of different files you need to scan your computer at boot time. I know that Avast and Mcafee are two antivirus which can scan your computer at boot time. So, you can use one of them and then simply scan your computer to remove all of the infected files from your computer. So, just use it.
