Re: How to remove the BackDoor-DPD?

Firstly would say that BackDoor-DPD is a Trojan detection. They are not like viruses, so they do not self-replicate. They usually will spread manually, and mostly under the premise that they are beneficial or wanted. This trojan is enter into your machine by very common installation methods involve system or security exploitation, and unsuspecting users manually executing unknown programs. Distribution channels include email, malicious or hacked web pages, Internet Relay Chat (IRC), peer-to-peer networks, etc. The file size of this trojan would be 106496 bytes. I think you should make 30days trial to fully register McAfee, which will help to remove it.

Re: How to remove the BackDoor-DPD?

According to my knowledge, the BackDoor-DPD is strong, because it can act in various ways to steal your data, private information, or resources. The DLL made by this trojan is intended to spy the infected user to steal password and also this malware binary monitors the infected user’s browser activity. It registries itself with the infected user system using Browser Helper Object which ensures, that the malware hooks with the iexplore.exe. As this can tell you that its very risky to keep this trojan. So, try to make your trial version of anti-virus to full version. Hope you can solve the problem.

Re: How to remove the BackDoor-DPD?

BACKDOOR- DPD is type of trojan horse. It also told that its very dangerous to keep it for longer time. This trojan tries to connect to the sites
(sr1.yahoo-user.com and mail.nifty-login.com) and then sends the stolen information to the attacker. It also uses the WinSock Function (gethostname and gethostbyname) to get host name of the compromised system. to avoid this all thing to happen, install full licensed version of McAfee. And also avoid downloading unknown programs from internet.
