Fake Security Alerts on Sony Vaio laptop

I have recently purchased a new Sony Vaio laptop. This has got Windows 7 installed. I bought a new USB internet connection for this. But since the last two days my laptop is displaying many security alerts. And I doubt that these are fake. Every time I connect to internet I get these alerts. I have got AVG anti virus installed on my laptop. But when I scan my laptop it fails to detect any malicious programs. What should I do ?

    Scan in Safe Mode

You can check for the malicious program by scanning your laptop in safe mode. In this mode all the third party softwares in your laptop will be disabled. To boot your laptop to safe mode restart your laptop. Keep tapping on the F8 key on the keyboard after you get the initial manufacturer logo screen. Then using the arrow keys select Safe mode. Once your laptop boots in safe mode scan your laptop with your Anti virus.

    Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger threat detected

I restarted my Sony Vaio laptop in Safe Mode. I then ran a full system scan. My anti virus AVG detected Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger threat. But when I selected the delete option the Alert window closes and no action is taken. When I again ran the system scan the same threat was detected. How to get rid of this threat and provide some information on the same.

    Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger description

Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger is a malicious program dropped on to your system by some Trojan. The main intention of this malicious program is to display untrue security alerts to confuse the user. And then asking the user to download the fake security tool. This also asks the user to purchase the License for the fake security tool. The malicious program can also pass on user data to the attacker.

    Restore your Laptop

I guess the only option that I feel is going to help you out to fix the Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger virus is the system restore. Which is in System Tools. This can be accessed by clicking on the Start Menu and then proceeding to Program > Accessories > System Tools. Select System Restore over here. This will ask you to select a system restore point that will restore your laptop settings.
