This fake or unidentified network appears because it may have been enabled by some of the user or been assigned wrongly. You can do one thing in order to stop this thing to happen. When you start your system go to the network connections option form start menu to the control panel. There you would get connections that is been currently working in your system. Highlight the fake network and then disable it by right clicking on it. This shall then make the changes and wont show up again after reboot.

The problem you are facing is due to some issues related to the operating system. This can be resolved by assigning the address again by resetting them in order to get the things work in proper manner. You have to enter the address for the system manually that is the Ip address and the DNS address. The default gateway should be provided also with respect to the configuration of the router. This shall help.

Re: Windows 7 shows fake network on reboot

Windows 7 is highly sophisticated system and it needs a good configurational substance in order to make the applications to work well. The network failure or fake network accessibility may be due to the substantial inability of the device to cope up with the operating system. Upgrade the firmware for the system and then save the settings with changes. Check out for the output thereafter.
