    No disk virus

I am facing an annoying warning message showing "no disk". First I thought that I am having problem with my hardware device. Then I checked and re-checked my hardware device on others computer. My CD ROM devices are working fine but it is not working on my personal computer. Then I scanned my personal computer found the virus problem of “regsvr.exe " is found. Can anybody help me in dealing with this problem?

The persons who are dealing with transferring of files across personal computers using their flash derive, pen derives, universal serial bus derives have a common problem of "regsvr.exe". Pen derives, universal serial bus derives are the main sources for "regsvr.exe" to travel from one personal computer to another personal computer. To avoid this problem scan your pen derives before using. Normally most common antivirus software available in the market will detect these "regsvr.exe".

    Re: No disk virus

If you are facing the problem of "regsvr.exe" virus after scanning your personal computer. Then this might be the reason. Normally the first step of "regsvr.exe " virus is to create entries in the startup folder. Because of this it can execute every time you start your personal computer. "regsvr.exe" virus can also execute at the specific time or date, since "regsvr.exe" is able to create entries in scheduled tasks also. If "regsvr.exe " has done this on your personal computer then it will be hard to remove "regsvr.exe " from your personal computer.

I am also having the problem of "regsvr.exe". "regsvr.exe" has disabled my task manger. Then I tried to search for the solution on net. I have got the solution may be this will help you. Just follow these steps. Go to start menu option and then go to run and type gpedit.msc in the box and then press enter. Now in the left pan go for user configuration then to administrative templates and then to system and then to Ctrl+Alt+Delete. In the right pane double click on Remove task manager and disable it and press apply and then OK. Then you will get your task manager back.

    Re: No disk virus

Due to "regsvr.exe" virus number of problem arises I have mentioned one of these and the solution for that. Automatically running of "regsvr.exe" is a big problem because if you find the solution for fixing your task manager then also when you restart your machine you will face the same problem. So to get rid of autorun.inf file. Goto start menu and then to run and then type cmd this will open a command prompt. Then type (attrib X:\Autorun.inf -s -r -h) where X represent the drive. Now autorun.inf file can see and you can delete it from your personnel computer. Now your problem is solved.

To remove "regsvr.exe" virus from your personal computer follow these steps. Go to start and then to run and type msconfig in the textbox and press enter. Then go to control panel then to scheduled task and delete the entry AT1, because this entry is created by "regsvr.exe" virus. Then go to registry editor and then go to find menu in regedit and search for regsver.exe and delete all the related entries leaving one named as "Explorer.exe regsvr.exe". Then search the whole system including hidden files and folders for regsvr.exe and delete every entry you find.
