Make sure you are using the latest GnuBox release. Open GnuBox, click Debug|Bring up. I'm not so sure about your cable requirements, but rest assured, the speed through cables should be WAY MORE than any wireless medium such as bluetooth. That's almost always the case a physical medium like cable is always a better singal carrier.

I think you can try out bluetooth. It is easy to use as i myself use gnu box 2 bluetooth and mrouter, inorder to connect internet on my pc. Attilawap GnuBox 3rd MUST be signed by your OWN before installing it on your device. Make sure it is plugged in. On notebook computers there may be a physical switch to turn bluetooth on or off. Bluetooth might also be turned off by software.

The best would always be a network cable though (some people think that phone lines give the same speed as network cables). This is a small software for your cell phone with which you can create a new Internet Connection (internet access point, connection profile, whatever you call it) on the phone. And yes wireless solutions will always be slower than cabled solutions with current technology. If you use this connection, the phone does not dial or connect to GPRS, but uses bluetooth (or the USB cradle) to connect to your PC.
