Remote Desktop connection disappears randomly over WLAN

I'm running Windows Xp as my operating system. I'm having a WLAN connection, which i usually use to connect my remote desktop connection on my Windows Xp machine. From last few days i'm having an extremely annoying problem with the Remote Desktop on my Windows XP over a WLAN connection. My Remote Desktop is often in the mood of not keeping its connection properly, and it then has to reconnect for some seconds (1-30 seconds) and during this time some things seem to freeze on the remote computer, most notifiable Winamp - which pauses playing during this time. I had checked the connection that arrives to the server, but nothing appears on the client PC. So, can any body tell me that why Remote Desktop connection disappears randomly over WLAN? Any one knows about it? Please help em out to resolve the above issue. Thanks.

Make sure your Local Policies have not been changed. Trying to connect from one home pc to another using remote desktop. For that you need to click on Start, select Run,then need to type in secpol.msc. After that Expand Local Policies and click User Rights Assignment. Then you have to have a password set on the host computer to use remote access. In the right pane, double-click Allow logon through Terminal Services. Make sure that Administrators and Remote Desktop Users are listed.

Try connecting to the remote computer again. Encryption policies can vary between systems and domains. Also do you have any internal software firewall even the basic window firewall enabled? if so, you could try disabling this completing an trying. If you continue to see this error message, contact the server administrator.

This option is enabled by default for all connection speeds and will cause this problem from certain remote clients. To use Remote Desktop, you need a WinXP Pro as the host and a remote computer running Win9x or a more recent version of Windows as the client that must have the Remote Desktop Connection client software installed. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. To enable remote desktop, go to Control Panel-->System-->Remote, check Allow users to connect remotely to this computer. To resolve this issue turn off "bitmap caching" on the Experience tab of the Remote Desktop Connection properties.
