iSCSI targets are not getting connected

    Hello!

I've Windows 2003 Server on DELL PE 6850. iSCSI targets are not
getting connected when the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator and a hardware
iSCSI HBA are installed at the same time on a server.
So have any idea on this issue???

    Regards,
    Steve

Re: iSCSI targets are not getting connected

The OpenSolaris software (SXCE Build 103) contains another iSCSI target implementation known as the iSCSI target daemon that is controlled by the SMF service (svc:/system/iscsitgt:default). To be more specific, through COMSTAR's SMTF I can allocate some raw disk and then provide it to my SAN through an FC Target or iSCSI Target or SAS Target or you name it. The COMSTAR iSCSI port provider implements the iSCSI transport known as iscsit. The iscsit transport runs as a service (svc:/network/iscsi/target). You must enable iscsit for it to be recognized by STMF.
