    4 Users 1 PC simultaneously

Heya,I know you heard about the product out there from Xtenda that will allow to do this. It has a PCI card and three remote units that will hook to the PCI card with basic network cables. Each remote then has connections for the keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Each user can do their own thing..I'd like to use similar kind of product in a school computer lab to fight the pc costs. The idea is that we would only need a fourth of the computers....

    Any ideas?

I have a proposal that makes you share one tower with two monitors, two keyboards, two mice..complicated to stick with that. This is ok if only one of you are going to be using the machine at one time. You cannot both use it at the same time. When one of you moves the mouse then the other one looses control and visa-a-versa..I have configured this up a few times, for various clients.Expensive way is to run windows server Run Terminal Services, renamed as Remote Desktop Services from Windows Server

I'm not confident about four at same time, but here is one that lmakes you use two keyboards and mouse simultaneously.USB KVM Splitter, USB Hub KVM, Multiple Keyboard Mouse Monitor One USB pc.What exactly are you looking to do with this? What is the advantage of connecting two keyboards up to the same machine? Why not just have one of the kids move over and let the second start typing?

Let me try to figure out your query. Are you looking like some thing if one pc can have two users doing various things at the same time?.With the present technology available for home usage, you could have one command per user. Which indirectly means only one keyboard/mouse action per machine. Two keyboards and two MICE that are attached to one computer can't independently act same time.
