Secure Shell, ssh, is the modern, reasonably secure, method of remotely connecting to another computer. You can use SSH by downloading Secure Shell (SSH) then open the SSH client by click on the icon appear on the desk Or go to Start > Programs > SSH Secure Shell > Secure Shell Client. The path to the SSH may be different from computer to computer.

You need to use Corkscrew to ssh your computer from another location . Due to SSH features such as port forwarding, this can allow many types of services to be run safely over the SSH via HTTP connections. Corkscrew enables the user to run SSH connections over most HTTP and HTTPS proxy servers. It reads stdin and writes to stdout during the connection.

    Re: How to Use Ssh

The SSH is not installed on Ubuntu by default. Before you use ssh you need to make sure that both the computers are connected to a network and that you can reach them via SSH. It provides better authentication facilities so that you can increase the security of other protocols.
