Cannot update zonealarm to latest version

Hi,
I have windows XP SP2 running on my computer. I am using Zonealarm antivirus on my PC from last few days. A new version of zonealarm is available in download section. But i cannot upgrade to latest version. Can anyone help?

It is possible that some of the zonealarm update files are corrupt. Try following to recover them:

• Restart your PC
• Boot in Safe mode
• Go to C:\Windows\System32\ZoneLabs\Updates
• Delete all files and folders
• Reboot and try to update again

Microsoft Update KB951748 is known to cause loss of internet access for ZoneAlarm users on Windows XP/2000. You can download and install the latest versions on zonealarm site. Once you have installed the new version of your product go to "start > windows update" and re-install the Microsoft patch.

Clear al the temporary files and folders. Delete all cookies and GO to Start -> Run -> Type Prefetch -> Enter -> Delete all the files. Also remove some registry entries. But don't forget backup your registry before messing with it. Click Start -> Run -> type regedit -> Enter. Then browse the following keys and delete them:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Zone Labs
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\vsmon
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\vsdatant
