What is Adware.Win32.UltraVNC

I am running Windows Vista operating system on my HP computer. I have recently installed UltraVNC on my computer for remote control because I remain out a lot of time and want to access my computer where ever I am to get data. But today my antivirus noticed a small malware on my computer with name "Adware.Win32.UltraVNC". Is this having some relation to my UltraVNC software? Or it is some forge which takes the name of installed software? How can I get rid of Adware.Win32.UltraVNC?

Don't remove it. It has very low risk level. It is useful for UltraVNC. The basic task of this is to make UltraVNC more powerful, user-friendly and no-brainer free. It helps UltraVNC in its task to work fast. It was installed on your computer alongwith the installation file.

Never heard of this virus or malware. I think its some new adware spread over internet which you need to get rid of as soon as possible. Try some good antivirus software and get it deleted or atleast quarantine. If that to didn't fix then formatting the hard drive is the only thing that comes to my mind.

I think you need to uninstall the UltraVNC software and reinstall it once again because you software seems to be corrupted or bogus. Download a new installation file from the original site and install it. Now see if you have "Adware.Win32.UltraVNC". If you still found it then formatting is the only option in my opinion.
