Computer infected by trojan.brisv.alinf

I have a computer at my office which has Symantec Corporate Edition Antivirus Client on all the computers. This is an unmanaged client install. Suddenly Symantec started telling me that one infection is found and needs to reboot the computer to continue with the removal of trojan.brisv.alinf When i check reboot now and press ok, computer reboots. Then after some time, the some problem occurs. What do i do? Sometimes it tells me that i need to remove it manually and sometimes it will ask for reboot, but in the end, nothing works... Please help!!

Reboot your computer in safe-mode and again scan for the infection. If it finds it, select delete file. If it cannot delete the file, then located the file manually and delete it. Then reboot your computer in normal mode and see if the infection comes back... All the best!

I already tried scanning in safe-mode, but as i log back into normal mode, it would come back, I deleted the file manually, but upon reboot, it would come back! Please help! I'm worried, as i dont wan't to loose my data...
