Remove AntivirXP08 virus

My computer is infected with the AntivirXP08 virus,I have installed McAfee and it detected the virus but cannot remove it, also my wallpaper is changed with blue warning wallpaper which i cannot be removed. any one can help me to solve this or i need to complete format ?
