Wlan auto config stops working

I have setup network with 12 computer in my office, all the pc can access internet through linksys wireless router. windows xp is installed on all the computer. When I attempt to connect to a wireless network it shows the message "WLAN AutoConfig has stopped working". Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

The only thing I don't see you specifically mentioning is trying the fn +f2 key to try to toggle the wireless. or driver for this device might be corrupted, or your system may be running low on memory or other resources.

WLAN AutoConfig service in Vista is actually similar to Wireless Zero Configuration service in XP that is used to detect available wireless network and manage wireless network profile.Click the start button. In the 'Search' box at the bottom type: cmd and press the enter button.At the command prompt type: netsh and press enter. Now type: wlan and press enter. Now type this: set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wireless Network Adapter" and press enter. By default, Vista enables the WLAN AutoConfig, so that your computer's wireless network adapter will automatically recognise and offer any wireless network within range.
