I had a similar problem!
The solution was: format / C:
I myself have scanned the whole registry and found nothing, which does not mean you can not find anything there and there is no better proposals will arrive! But such nest sites are just as insistent in the Registry such as web dialers.
Nevertheless you can still try the following: search a file named "host", this should be in the directory "C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc" to be found.
This can be with the editor open and should look like this:
Code:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp..
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file provided by Microsoft TCP / IP
# For Windows 2000 is used.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names.
# Each entry must be on a separate line. The IP
# Address should appear in the first column followed by the corresponding
# Hostnames are.
# The IP address and host name must be at least one
# Space separated.
#
# Additional comments (as in this file) can be
Individual # lines or behind the computer name to be inserted,
# But must be compatible with the character '#' can be entered.
#
# For example:
#
102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # # source server
38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # # x client host
if not, then there is perhaps the name of the unwanted side to find and can be deleted (all lines without a hash # are valid entries)! The danger, however, that this item when you restart the PC again there's a hidden little program again is created.
Try the following: at the end of the IE browser cache to make sure that the page does not load from there!
