    Windows Vista - IPv6 says limited

    Hi,

    I'm using Windows Vista and its having the new IPv6 protocol. but When i checks the network connection status , it says that Internet IPv6 Limited, I wasn't having this problem with windows xp (ipv4 is connected).

    how do i fix this?

    I'm also using vista, and i have disabled ipv6 and using ipv4 without any problem. Disable IPV6 and stick with IPV4.

    Basically, all it means is that the router it's connected to doesn't support IPv6, so it's not available. IPv6 is not commonly used on small networks, and probably won't be anytime soon, so it's not a big deal. If you're interested, there are several good explanation of IPv6 on wikipedia.
