    Nvidia nForce Network Controller issue

    Hi friends,

I have just reformatted my HDD and have fresh install of windows Vista. But after reinstalling Vista my internet is not working at all. Before reformat it was working fine . And after that i tried to troubleshoot my problem and in Diagnose and repair i found this error message "The network adapter Nvidia nForce Networking Controller is experiencing driver or hardware related issues." I don't know how to deal with this problem. Thanks for any help !

I have a GA-K8N51GMF-9 Motherboard with an onboard Gigabit NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller , and I had the same problem. I solved it by Uninstalled the card then rescanned for hardware to let windows pick up the driver automatically.

I had the same exact issue with my machine when i first started running Vista. Just delete the specific update for the network device, and you should be good to go.

Go to Control panel>>Programs>>Program Features>>View installed updates. They should be dated. Uninstall the updates one by one from the time you were experiencing the issue. Each time you uninstall an update, try to access the net via IE. Uninstalling an update may require you to restart your PC before you see the changes take effect. One you regain internet access. Download all updates again.

If above solutions doesn't ans There is a hardware issue with the onboard LAN, you should try a D-Link NIC card work in a PCI slot. Disable the on-board LAN and then install the D-Link NIC. Install the drivers for the D-Link NIC, and shutdown the machine. Turn off the modem for at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on, connect the Ethernet cable to the mode and reboot the computer.
