Can't open nat on Xbox Live

I have a Linksys WAG200G Wireless-G ADSL Gateway and I have added it to Xbox Live. I am now doing some router settings for my Xbox. UPnP is ticked off. Why do I still get strict?

If the NAT status in the Network Status area of the Dashboard is "moderate" or "strict," you may have to configure port settings.

The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly:

1. UDP 88
2. UDP 3074
3. TCP 3074

It is not easy to open ports on Linksys router but here's a guide:

I followed the guide 2 times without success. Why does it not?

Check that you have assigned the correct unit / device to see the Ethernet port you are connected to the x-box in the back of the router.

Because there was a little deceptive with me, x-box assigned the same name as one of my PC.

It is not correct. Try to restart the router and see if it changes. You can also enter the ip address of x-box instead of the device name, it is safer.

I tried using IP and now NAT is working properly.
