Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 is overheating while playing games

I have recently bought a new build having the following:
    • windows 7 x64
    • AMD 8x 3.1 Zambezi
    • Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
    • 8gb DDR3
    • Radeon HD6850

The problem that I am facing is that the cpu is getting overheated when I run games like Assassin's Creed II and so, I have noticed that the temp normally stays between 15 and 25 C but then when I play game then it reaches 50+ , is there anything that I can do about this??

I just wanted to know that where you have noted the temp? I am asking you so because the temp that you have mentioned are quite low than normal as well, you can just check out things like the thermal paste, see if it is applied properly and even the heat sink is attached well or not. Other than this I also wanted to know the Brand & Model of the PSU that is in your system. First check out the above things and then let me know if you are finding anything to be suspicious.

I have checked out the temps in the hardware monitor I am having a screencap attached to it as well, I have checked out the thermal paste and it is applied properly, the psu in my case is AZZA Dynamo 850W and as far as the ram is concerned it is 2x4 Corsair Vengeance DDR3,by now I have tried out the below solutions but then they have not helped:
    • Credit card method
    • Pea-sized method
    • Grain of rice method

A number of other solutions as well but then it is just not helping and the issue is still the same.

I suspect that it is because of the psu that you are having, I have checked out the same and it is appearing to be poor quality and it is not 80+ certified as well, anyways you can just check out the temps & voltages in the Bios and then compare the same with hardware monitor. Just check out the same and then let me know what you get.
