Enabling power saving modes with 1.44v helps to run CPU at 5Ghz

I used Intel core-I7 2600k overclocked 5ghz CPU on my Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3. This system also contains Diablotek 500 watt PSU, 16GB RAM and EN8400GS Silent graphics Card. I read some articles and they said that this CPU can be able to run at 5GHz. It can be possible by enabling power saving modes with 1.44v. Is this correct or something wrong on it. Also this article say that this combinations works to splash bios POST screen. It takes 60 seconds to go away, is this normal? Any help.

I think your Vcore is too high with this CPU. You need to simply do some changes onto it. Setting vcore at 1.44v might be makes problem in future. Hence i would be say that try to set it to the 1.353v. This voltage works to avoid any heating type of problem on this system. Yes, sometimes, such unsuitable vcore voltage makes problem with this intel processor. You can set the correct voltage if you already try this. It safe for your system.

i try to set the vcore voltage to its 1.44v. Hence i can say that this is really hramful to my system. This 1.44v is a killer voltage! It works to keep the system CPU performance to its lower level. Hence i would be say that there is necessary to use the proper setting for this power supply connections. otherwise such things makes problem with us.

It sounds like the general consensus is that your voltage is to high. If you want to get the best result on your system, you can simply try to do the CMos setting reset task on it. This is well for avoiding any unnecessary setting process. It sets all cmos setting to its default stage. Then all the devices and there interactions works like a fresh combinations. Hence its necessary to avoid any harmful actions on it by doing cmos resetting task.

You can even also try the Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler on your system for controlling heating issues with this core-i7 2600k cpu. enabling power saving mode works to run this cpu at higher clock speed but sometimes it also makes heating problem. hence we need to use best cpu cooler for this system. This is well for solving your complex issue. Try to insert this cooler for ignoring heating problem.

Such changing the vcore voltage might be helps to make degradation issue onto it. Hence this changing the cpu cooler it also best for you. Try this and check its details. Also you can simply do turning off Marvell sata ports and set booting time to 10 seconds on bios. This is well for you to fix such complicated type of problem.
