    Problems with MSI 870A-G54 (FX)

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction struggling with the build of my new PC.

    Yesterday I bought the below:

    MSI 870A-G54 FX Motherboard
    AMD FX 4100 CPU
    8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black, PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.50V
    Asus HD5570 1Gb Graphics card

Installed it all into a Coolermaster case with one of their 460 Watt PSU's.

Turned it on, appears to start fine, all fans running, LED's for CPU Power on the MoBo are all lit hard drive starts up but I get nothing. No POST beeps, and no video is being output.

Took it all to pieces again and went through the same, tried checking to see if one of the memory modules was defective by installing them separately and get the same experience.

Read a number of posts on here with similar issues so wonder if anyone solved it. Checked out the CPU too to see if I'd inadvertently damaged it but that looks fine too.

    Any help would be appreciated

Assembling can be issue here. First do this, connect the processor and ram only. Start your system and see you can access bios. If not then try to change the ram slots. It is important to here the beep message on boot which indicates that all hardware are properly connected. Your system is brand new, and if it still does not work, take a help for any technical expert to assemble it properly.

I today found out after going thru the same problems as the thread starter did that the processor is not supported by the board (yet). (for supported mainboards see: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870A-G...div=CPUSupport )
I switched the processor for a phenom X4 3000Mhz and it went like a charm.

I know i am responding to a old post but i am sure i am not the only one who still makes this mistake so.....
